Notes

2021-08-04 - Based on the facade and console appearance in photos, the manual and pedal compasses and that the chapel does not appear on the Estey opus list, it is quite probable that the organ was built by the C.S. Haskell Manufacturing Co. -Paul R. Marchesano

2021-08-07 - I don't believe this instrument appears on the instrument appears in the 1910 opus list as published in the Tracker 1985 vol. 29 no. 3. In other instances of Haskell instruments not on this list (for instance Emmanuel Lutheran Pottstown, PA) the instrument in question was a rebuild of an already existing organ receiving additions and substantial modifications. This might indicate there were previous instruments at this parish. Also curious is the saxophone on the stop list-- often times congregations would deem "saxophone" too scandalous for a spiritual setting, this might indicate that the congregation was particularly enlightened or contemporary for the time. -Zenas Michael Savage
