2021-08-10 - The early history of this organ is obscure. It was for many years in the annex of Blessed Sacrament Church (R. C.) in St. Louis, and may have come from St. John's German Evangelical Church in Mehlville, St. Louis County. The projecting, unbracketed, walnut keydesk has terraced jambs and square shanks lettered in Old English. The keyfronts are square. The builder's name is stencilled on the name board. -- *1979 OHS Handbook* -Paul R. Marchesano
