Notes

2021-10-03 - "In 1979, St. John's pipe organ, manufactured by the W. Zimmer Organ Company, Charlotte, N.C. was dedicated. The loft was remodeled to support and accommodate the organ. The organ has 25 stops and 31 ranks, 2 manuals and pedal." (Source: church website). I have seen this instrument during a tour of the sanctuary. The console is centered in a fixed position and faces the pipe facade and case. There are combination pistons under each keyboard and the stops are the rocker tablet type located above the upper manual. The church is also known as "St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod", according to both the website and Facebook page. In November 2008, the church building was placed on the Indiana Historical Register. -Timothy E Conyers
