2021-10-16 - From David Vuckson via Facebook: The old Capitol Theatre in downtown Victoria, B.C. had a 3 manual 15 rank Warren Theatre Organ installed in 1922 (it is long gone as is the theatre). It was installed under the supervision of Andrew Chapman. [ed.: bldg still extant] -Paul R. Marchesano
2024-12-11 - Opened as the Capitol Theatre on September 7, 1921. It was owned by Famous Players with seating listed at 1,212 when it opened. On June 26, 1981 it was converted into 6-screens. Cineplex operated the theatre for a short time in 2005 and then it was operated by Empire Theatres. Reopened November 4, 2016 as the Capitol 6 under independent management.
