2021-11-23 - The original church building was erected in 1899 and the name of the church was changed to Chelten Avenue Baptist Church in July of 1904. The Young Men’s League was organized in 1910 and in 1912 the church was gifted with a beautiful pipe organ. -- from church history web page A newer building stands on the location now. Built by Charles E. Haskell, and appeared in a July, 1919 listing published in *The Diapason* by the firm. 2 manuals, 21 ranks. -Paul R. Marchesano
