Notes

2021-12-23 - Don Pole, of Pole and Kingham Pipe Organs (Chatham, Ontario) which refurbished the organ in 1987 states: "This Woodstock organ has 7 ranks of pipes which are unified at various pitches. The Great has an Open Diapason outside the swellbox with the bass octave in the facade case. The Pedal Bourdon is also outside the swellbox. The rest of the pipes are in the swellbox: Open Diapason; String; Voix Celeste; Stopped Diapason; Oboe; Chimes. The following work was done: organ switching was replaced with solid state note, stop and coupler action; keyboards were replaced with new plastic-covered keyboards with tracker touch; key and stop junctions were installed with a crescendo pedal setter compatible with solid state switching; the nameboard was rebuilt with new stop switches, engraved stop tabs, labels and indicator lights; coke tuning slides were added to the treble pipes; and the top Violina and Dulcet pipes were revoiced to extend the Swell Open Diapason pipes to 4' and 2' pitches." -Ian Mason
