2022-01-15 - The organ was dedicated on August 22, 1875, as reported in the *Reading (PA) Times and Dispatch*, August 30, 1875: On Sunday, the 22d inst., a large new pipe organ was dedicated in St. Paul's Reformed Church, Mahanoy City. The organ was furnished by Mr. Samuel Bohler, of Reading. It is the largest in Mahanoy City, cost $1,650.00, has fourteen stops, and five hundred and fifty pipes. The Shenandoah *Daily Herald* speaking of the organ says: "It was built by Mr. Samuel Bohler, of Reading, Pa., and for neatness of finish, clearness of tone and style of architecture, is unequalled by any we have ever heard or seen." The dedicatory sermon was preached by the Rev. Charles H. Leinbach, of Stouchsburg. The pastor of the Mahanoy congregation is the Rev. H. A. Keyser, formerly of this county.
