2022-03-24 - This Kilgen unit organ was originally installed in The Church of St. Mary, Lake Forest, IL. The Dollacks, members of that congregation, purchased the organ in 1981. Prairie Organ Company moved, reconfigured, re=winded (using a new Meidinger blower), reinstalled and re-regulated the instrument in the basement of the Dollacks' home as a practice instrument for Dorothy Dollack. In 1997 the organ was offered for sale through Alan Laufman of the Organ Clearing House; Gary Hanson and Clark Wilson purchased and removed it in October of 1997. -Ronald Damholt
