2022-04-03 - This well-designed unit organ seems to reflect the times of trouble in the Great Depression. The organ contract, August 9, 1934, was for $3,250, payble in 3 payments of $325 and a payment of $2250 when the organ was complete. It also came with a contract dated August 14, 1934, in which Kimball was to provide free maintenance and tuning for 12 months from date of completion, which was promised as December 25, 1934. -Paul R.
