2022-04-23 - Originally built for Wesley Methodist Church in Hamilton, Casavant Opus 498 was moved by an unknown builder to the newly-built Trinity Christian Reformed Church in St. Catharines in 1966. Tonal revisions to the instrument were made in 1980, possibly by Leonard Jeffs or Alan T. Jackson, local Casavant representatives at that time. After Casavant Frères Opus 2965 was acquired from Montréal and installed at Trinity in 1987, Opus 498 was moved to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Niagara Falls in 1988. -Andrew Henderson
