Notes

2022-05-07 - The organ was originally built for St. John's Episcopal Church in Essex, CT. The precise date is unknown but it has been estimated as 1889. The organ was then acquired by Noack and installed in Concordia Lutheran Church in Sioux City, IA in 1964. After the church's closure, the organ was relocated once again to its present location in 2022. When Noack acquired the organ, he expanded and refurbished it for Concordia. The 1 1/3' Quinte, 2' Principal, II Mixture, and 2' Flachflote (originally notated as a Blockfloete) were added along with a new pedalboard and blower. Although the stops indicate the 2' Principal playing from the Swell and the 2' Flachflote playing from the Great, the opposite is true in the organ's present configuration. -Kaleb Schmidt
