2022-05-08 - The instrument possibly used pipework from the church's original instrument made by a local Hamilton builder, Thomas White, who was also organist of the church. Nearly all of the pipework was retained in the organ built by Casavant Freres in 1903, Op. 200. -Andrew Henderson
2023-12-23 - From *The Hamilton Spectator* (May 17, 1880): "The magnificent new organ which is being built by S. R. Warren & Son, of Toronto, for the Centenary Church is fast approaching completion, and it has been decided to inaugurate it with a grand sacred concert, to take place on the evening of Tuesday, June 1st. For this the most elaborate preparations are being made ... organ recitals by Mr. Torrington ... under the direction of Prof. Parker, organist of the church ... compass of manuals cc to g, 56 notes; pedals ccc to f, 30 notes ... altogether there are 47 stops, and three double-acting combination pedals. The wind will be supplied by four bellows. And extended keyboard will place the organist six feet from the organ and in the midst of the choir. The front of the organ case will be as follows: panels, birds-eye maple; columns, English oak; mouldings, ebony; 25 pipes, gilt." -Andrew Henderson
