Notes

2022-05-13 - According to the church history, the first organ was installed in the balcony of the church in 1834, the gift of Mary Walker in memory of her husband James Walker. It was probably rebuilt sometime in the 1870s. In 1933, when the present instrument was installed, the old organ was given to the West Dighton (MA) Congregational Church. It was transported there in a hay wagon by the Dighton parishioners. -- *2005 OHS Handbook* -Paul R. Marchesano
