2022-06-21 - As Op. 919, ten new ranks plus Harp (replacing the Campanetta) and Chimes added in 1912; rebuilt and enlarged in 1916 to 3/46 as Op. 1347; 4 additional ranks added in 1927; relocated in 1947 to First Baptist Church, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by Herbert Leadbitter of Detroit. Truman Handy Newberry (1864-1945) was the son of John S. Newberry and brother to Helen Newberry. Truman was an industrialist who was one of the organizers of the Packard Motor Co.; he served as Asst. Secretary of the Navy 1905-1908; he was a US Senator from 1919-22, though eventually resigning due to questions about his election funds. -Jeff Scofield
