2025-02-07 - I (Colton Barber) visited the organ on Feb 6 of 2025. The organ is in great condition and maintained regularly. The organ is played at least once a month. The organ is currently being maintained by Morris Spearman. -Colton Barber
2025-02-07 - According to a local historian (Jesse Riggs), the organ was mostly likely purchased by the church pianist Jane Kittrell Cox. She married into the Cox family, a wealthy family that built the A.G. Cox Manufacturing Company. This company sparked the creation of Winterville. -Colton Barber
