2022-10-13 - Originally build for Temple Adath Israel in The Bronx NY in 1927 at Op. 5028 3/17, Moller took the organ back for some reason or another and installed it as is (though re-engineered for the new space) in 1935 in the old downtown building of First Christian Church, Hagerstown, as Op. 6372; it was relocated to the present building as Op. R-666 in 1960, with tonal changes and revoicing; Moller added the present console in 1970; for the next 30 years ranks of pipes from a number of regional churches were added; the Antiphonal was added in 1996; the console was converted to solid-state by Hagerstown at that time and the organ was renovated by them in 2002. -Jeff Scofield
