2022-08-03 - This instrument started life in 1929 as Henry Pilcher's Sons Opus 1507. Sometime in the middle of the 1970's the church contracted with Craig Nelson of Brighton, Michigan to rebuild, revoice, and expand the instrument from 1929. Ken Holden took over as the instrument's caretaker sometime in the 1990's and did some further modifications and repairs to the instrument, and was done in 1997. Holden Pipe Organ Company of Ferndale, Michigan still continues to maintain the instrument at this time. -Roman Lizak
