2022-11-21 - This entry represents the installation of a used theatre. The organ was originally built for the State Theatre in Youngstown, Ohio as a 3-manual, 12-rank instrument. The Kingston Theatre Organ Society website states, *"the organ was rescued in the late 1970s and brought to Kingston. When no available suitable theatrical venue could be found, the organ was professionally installed, with much volunteer help, in the Anglican Church of the Redeemer in north Kingston."* It was enlarged from 12 to 28 ranks, and the original pneumatic relays have been replaced with solid state switching. -Jim Stettner
