Notes

2023-05-23 - From the *Aurora Banner* (November 20, 1914): "The handsome organ gifted to the Lutheran Church, Unionville, by A. J. H. Eckhardt, was formally dedicated to the service last night. Mr. Lye of Edward Lye & Sons, the makers of the organ, gave the recital. The church was crowded, and many descendents of the original founders of the church were present. The instrument has a beautiful mahogany case, and is blown by electric power. It cost over $3,000, and the makers consider it a high-grade instrument." -Andrew Henderson
