Notes

2022-12-26 - From *Saint Michael's Lutheran Church, Strasburg*, by William Frederic Worner, Lancaster County Historical Society, 1920. "In 1819, Michael Withers, Sr., presented the church with a pipe organ. The instrument was made in his farmhouse in Lime Valley. It was used continuously for nearly a century, and has only recently been sold." Michael Withers is not a known organ builder. No further information is available at this time, although the current organ is housed in a simple, early American style case which may survive from the original instrument. -Paul R. Marchesano
