2023-01-22 - A NY state list compilled by George Nelson states this was a "rebuild of an unidentified organ, moved from the front of the church to the gallery, new console and Great chest". The Delaware catalog from 1973 shows a photo of an instrument in a rear gallery with functionally exposed pipework in front of a central Swell box with exposed shades. The church's present website (2023) shows a 1984 Pels & van Leeuwen electric-action organ in a rear gallery in a room with a different roof line than was is seen in the Delaware photo. A local source states the congregation built a new and larger building in neighboring Penfield at an unknown date and the Pels instrument was a new commission in 1984. A 2022 Facebook posting (with no explanation) states the "organbuilders came from Holland to install the organ and stayed across the street with a family that speaks Dutch". The sequence of events regarding this congregation's various buildings and organs requires further investigation to sort out. -Scot Huntington
