Notes

2023-01-27 - This entry represents the rebuilding of an existing organ. From Fr. Jeremy Secrist via email on 01-26-2023: *"Chris Soer was accompanying me on the most recent visit (1/23/2023) and he indicated that the former J.G. Pfeffer instrument at Salisbury was one of Mike Quimby's early rebuild projects in the mid-to-late 1970's (Opus 3-7). * *Although the instruments officially indicated as Quimby "rebuilds" has shrunk on the official QPO website in more recent years, Chris Emerson, who still works for QPO verbally verified today that the St. Joseph instrument was an early rebuild project of that firm. He remembered the installation of the Peterson control system and the new 2 manual console, as well as the replacement of the original 16' Pedal Bourdon with a repurposed Wicks rank."* -Jim Stettner
