Notes

2023-02-02 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified from a 1986 published history of the organs of Mexico City Cathedral by Dirk A. Flentrop and translated by John Fesperman. This was the new Gospel organ, and was to have been built like the 1693 Epistle organ by Jorge de Sesma and rebuilt by Nassarre. The Gospel organ was to have 79 registers and to cost 30,000 pesos. -Jim Stettner
