2023-02-03 - An organ by S. R. Warren & Sons of Montreal was installed in early 1877 at a cost of $2,500 and dedicated with a concert provided by the church's choir & organist, Prof. Norman, on January 26, 1877. The organ was originally installed in an alcove behind the pulpit, but was evidently moved to a side position in the chancel in 1883 and modifications were made to the organ case and facade. It is possible that much of the organ's pipework was reused in the church's subsequent Casavant Organ, Op. 147, installed in 1901. -Andrew Henderson
