2023-02-06 - According to the Algoma Anglican (April 1975), the organ was built by the Karn Organ Company in 1902 for the Methodist Church in Essex, Ontario. After the church was damaged by an explosion, the instrument was moved to a new building in 1909 and rebuilt by an unknown builder in 1925. It was decided to replace the organ with Casavant Frères Op. 1190 (1927) and the organ sold to Church of the Redeemer (Anglican) in Thesslaon, Ontario. -Andrew Henderson
