2023-02-11 - According to the parish's *Gedenkbüchlein* (1912), a pipe organ was purchased in 1899 for the sum of $2,000. It is unknown whether any part of this organ was used in the Casavant instrument (Op. 1619) acquired by the church in 1939. -Andrew Henderson
2023-12-02 - In a contemporary newspaper article the instrument had been manufactured by a Toronto firm, and in the Kitchener Daily Record (September 5, 1939) the organ installed in 1899 "was a used instrument when purchased." -Andrew Henderson
