"Pipe Organ Here," *Cedar County News* (Hartington, NE), Thursday, June 23, 1910, 1, Newspapers.com, accessed April 29, 2023, https://www.newspapers.com/image/699844556: The new pipe organ for the Holy Trinity church arrived the first of the week and is being installed by the builder, Gustav Treu, of St. Louis. Mr. Treu is an experienced builder of pipe organs having built some of the largest instruments in the United States, including one recently completed in the Holy Trinity church of St. Louis which contains nearly two thousand pipes. The organ here will consist of 710 pipes of various metals and of wood, varying in length from one inch to sixteen feet. There are two key boards [*sic*] to be operated by hands and one by the feet; also five foot treadles. The air pressure to operate it will be furnished by hand power temporarily but may be attached to an electric motor. The instrument is beautifully finished in oak, the front consisting of neatly arranged decorated pipes. Mr. Treu says that there is not a prettier instrument in Omaha. The work of installing the instrument will be completed tomorrow, and it is probable that at mass Sunday its tones will be heard for the first time in a public service The builder of this organ is the same who built the Bow Valley organ for Father Biernbach. -Charles Eberline
