2023-05-13 - From *The Windsor Star *(January 9, 1894): "The organ in the new church at Kingsville was erected by Edward Lye & Sons, of Toronto. It has two complete manuals, each of 58 notes; a pedal organ of 27 notes ... The instrument is enclosed in a handsome polished hardwood case, 17 ft. wide and 7 ft. high, surmounted by 27 speaking front pipes, richly decorated. The stops that deserve special mention for purity and sweetness of tone are the Open Diapason, Clarabell and Flute in the Great Organ and Oboe and Piccolo in the Swell, which were brought out with beautiful effect by A. H. Hyde, the organ builder, who played the voluntaries morning and evening on the opening Sunday, and by Mrs. McDonald at the afternoon service." -Andrew Henderson
