2023-05-15 - from Evening Star Newspaper October 7, 1911 The "old organ" at St John's Episcopal, Georgetown, was sold to St. Peter's Catholic for $200, and an additional $200 was to be spent for repairs and installation into St. Peter's. (The primary topic of the article was that St. John's had purchased the 1883 Odell organ from St. John's Lafayette Sq) Local organ lore says that St. Peters had an Erben organ, at some time in its past.
