2023-05-16 - from - Evening Star, Washington DC - May 2, 1855 Mr. Erben's Organs- The chapel organ which was exhibited at the last fair of the Metropolitan Mechanics Institute, in this city (DC), has been sold to the convent of Mount de Sales, near Catonsville Maryland; the price $500. It will be recollected that Mr. Erben, the manufacturer, received at that fair a silver medal, a high compliment justly deserved by him; for his instrument's have a wide reputation for their unrivaled excellence............. -Steven Bartley
