It incorporate parts of two historic organs well known in Washington and some new elements into one of the best balanced tonal masterpieces in the city. The builders used parts of the old St. Mark's organ (H&H opus) the instrument in historic old Trinity Church. (3d & C Sts) The installation was made possible by a legacy in the will of Mrs Helen R. The organ will be dedicated by Rev. William Moody, rector of St. Marks, who also will preach the sermon. Their will be a corporate communion for the men and boys of the congregation. The music will be furnished by the choir of men and boys an organization now entering its fifty-second year of continuous service to the parish. At the console of the new organ will be Samuel Wood, organist and choir director. Trinity Episcopal fell on hard times and closed in 1922. The building was demolished in 1936.
