Notes

2023-07-17 - This entry represents the removal, moving, and reinstallation of the church's existing 1891 Farrand & Votey to a new edifice for the same congregation. The work, completed by the Schoenstein firm of San Francisco, included a new console and tonal changes more in the orchestral style. The existing windchests were retained, but with new electro-pneumatic primary actions. The case front was altered to fit the width of the chancel and the sides were removed. The previously stenciled pipes were repainted in a gold color. Another new console was installed ca. 1965, but while the manual and pedal compasses were increased to modern standards, the 58- and 27-note chests were not provided with extensions, and some of the pipework was left not playing. -Jim Stettner
