2023-07-18 - In 1993 the church closed and merged with St. James United Methodist Church to form East Ridge United Methodist Church; the Ridgedale sanctuary became the home of the Soul Saving Station; they later abandoned the building and it eventually became the property of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) to become and community arts center. The organ appears to still be in the building. The street address is also given as 1518 and 1542 Dodds Ave. and the name given as First Baptist Church, which is actually located downtown. -Jeff Scofield
