2023-07-31 - This entry represents the installation of a used pipe organ. Identified through online information from Michael Nieminen. The organ was originally built for the Koberg Hall of Concordia Seminary in Clayton, Missouri. The organ was for sale on ebay ca. 2001, and was purchased by a private party in Wayne, New Jersey and the organ was installed in their residence there. It was again offered for sale - this time through the Organ Clearing House. It was purchased by Faith Lutheran Church of Dunedin, Florida, and was moved to the church for storage by Alan McNeely pending alterations to the church. The organ is expected to be installed by mid-2024. -Jim Stettner
2025-06-09 - Updated through online information from Michael Nieminen (June 8, 2025): The organ was assembled and voiced at Faith Lutheran Church, Dunedin, FL in March 2025 by Daniel Angerstein of Angerstein Organ Works, Ltd. During the prior months, the nave had been renovated to accommodate the new organ. The ceiling at the back of the church was raised and the entire area refinished. All carpets were removed from the nave and chancel. The existing terrazzo floor was refinished. A new chancel area was built and finished with marble tile. The resulting acoustic is ideal for choral and organ music as well as for congregational singing. The first service with the newly-rebuilt organ was held on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025. -Jim Stettner
