2023-08-12 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified from an extant photo from 1907 on the LykensValley.org website. The photo caption reads: *"An undated photograph of the pipe organ at the Simeon Lutheran and Reformed Church, Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, which was dedicated on 21 April 1907 at morning, noon and evening services in which about 1000 people attended. The total cost was $1500, half of which was paid by the church and half of which was paid by Andrew Carnegie." * -Jim Stettner
