2023-08-17 - From *The Brantford Weekly Expositor* (December 29, 1910): "It was very appropriate that the new organ at Wellington Street Church was used for the first time on Christmas Day. It was built by the Karn-Morris Organ Co. of Woodstock and possesses to the fullest extent that "big, fat Warren tone," spoken of by Dr. A. S. Vogt, conductor of the famous Mendelssohn choir of Toronto. The case is made of quarter-cut oak, highly finished, the front pipes finished in lacquered bronze with mouths of gold leaf. A three horse-power Orgoblo gives sufficient wind for all purposes. The console is detached with roll top and the exterior fittings are of polished mahogany. Not only has this organ got the full massive tone so requisite in a large instrument, but it also possesses individual stops of rare delicacy and beauty of tone ..." -Andrew Henderson
