Notes

2023-09-04 - From The Chilliwack Progress (August 28, 1930): "The instrument is the work of the veteran organ builder, Adolph Fosness of Vancouver, and players who have tried it are much pleased with the splendid tone and smooth action. The handsome oak console is placed so the organist has a full view of the choristers, the organ itself being in the base of the tower to the right of the choir. The action is pneumatic and is electrically blown. There are two manuals with four speaking stops on the Swell organ and three on the Great organ with two Pedal organ stops with the usual number of couplers and combination pistons." It is unknown whether any part of this instrument was incorporated into Casavant, Op. 2223, which was installed in 1954. -Andrew Henderson
