Fred Wolle, of Bethlehem Pa., was one of the most enjoyable musical events ever given in this city. ... The church was packed to the doors..." Dedicated October 27, 1900. News article (29 Oct 1900, p1) announced the "new pipe organ" was dedicated and paid for, raising $500 at the dedication concert. Organ builder not identified. ibid. 25 Nov 1901, p1. **WIPED OUT ORGAN DEBT Congregation of St Paul Church Celebrate 25th Anniversary--Mortgage Only Remains** Article reports the organ cost $3800 and "at their twenty-second anniversary yesterday" the pastor suggested "taking a collection of $150 to cancel the indebtedness against the pipe organ placed in the church during the last year at a cost of $3800.
