2023-09-23 - Source: Columbia Tennessee newspaper The Herald and Mail, February 12, 1904, page 6 Regarding the extensive renovations ongoing at the the building "...In the southwestn part of the church, extending from that corner to the session room beind the pulpit, a choir section has been built, and in the center, at the back, will be placed the new pipe organ, which has been shipped, and which is expected to arrive every day. The organ is very a (sic) handsome affair, and of the most modern make. It was built by Kilgen & Son, at a cost of $1,200. It is hoped to have the organ installed by the opening of the church on Sunday February 14." -William Dunklin
