2023-11-09 - Despite a devastating fire on Sunday, November 26, 1950 which left the sanctuary as a burnt-out shell, the pipe organ suffered only minimal damage. It was used for many years afterwards. Calvary United Church closed in 1992 and amalgamated with Sandwich United Church in Windsor to form Bedford United Church. Calvary United Church was sold. In 2023, the former Calvary building is the Windsor Chinese Baptist Church. -Ian Mason
