Notes

2024-03-17 - Outdoor organ located about 300 feet from estate, speaking through three windows. Steam-blown bellows produced "three times the ordinary pressure of wind". Reportedly could be heard a mile away in the correct conditions. Console was electric with unique stopkey action designed by Winans. Wind chests of the ventil type, action is a mixture of tubular-pneumatic and pneumatic machine inside the main organ chamber. Estate and organ demolished in 1894. -Christian Tedesco
