2024-07-17 - Kilgen Petite Ensemble, Opus 5689, built in 1936. The original paperwork is dated 4 November 1936, A contract between Kilgen and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg, WI - for the Sacred Heart Altar Society. It is listed as a "Style 5" (demonstrator). The price listed on the contract is $1,435.00. It looks like the freight was $143.50. Signatures include Eugene Kilgen, Reverend Eugene Kiernan and attested by Mrs. Naeter M. Hickey. Instrument was subsequently sold to a private individual and then sometime later was removed by Robert Monette, who had purchased it at auction for $100.00.
