2011-05-11 - Henry Ford hired Ernest Skinner to build the instrument. Skinner used photographs of the original laboratory to design the organ as a replica of the Roosevelt instrument that had been in the lab. The organ is a self-contained instrument with all pipes exposed. It is located in the back of the laboratory on the second floor of the building. -Database Manager
