2024-08-03 - An organ, built by Samuel Russel Warren, was installed in this church in 1875. In 1921, the parish purchases, for the amount of $25,000, from Casavant, a new 62-stop four-manual and pedal instrument. The organ was inaugurated by French organist, Joseph Bonnet, who, during the World War II, lived in the United States but, during the summer, lived in St. Luce-sur-Mer near Rimouski. Located in the gallery, the 1921 instrument was relocated in the chancel when, in 1967, major renovation renovations were brought to the building. Ten years after the relocation, in 1979, Guilbault-Thérien were given the mandate to completely revise the tonal composition of the instrument.
