2024-09-29 - "On the first Sabbath of April, 1874, this church was occupied by the congregation for the first time for divine worship...The estimated cost of the building was $44,000; the actual cost, owing to some change in the plan, was $51,280. In furnishing the church the ladies did their part nobly. They paid for the organ, built by Hook & Hastings, of Boston, and costing $3,100.
