2024-10-22 - This entry represents the installation of a used organ. Identified through online information from Jack Lauderdale (October 12, 2024): The Moller is no longer at St. Paul's Lutheran in Fulton, MD. There is a small Lewis and Hitchcock tracker, originally built in 1985 and installed here in 1991. -Jim Stettner
2024-10-22 - The organ does not have a builder's plate, but my contact in the congregation says that the organ was built by Lewis and Hitchcock in 1985. They are local to the area, so that makes sense. There is a plate on the organ that says "Renamed in 1991." That may be the date the organ was installed in St. Paul's. That is long enough ago that the history within the congregation may be lost. As you will see from the photos, the organ may have been reconfigured from its original installation, with minimal effort in updating the console. The stops within the part of the organ with the keydesk are tracker action, but there is an ancillary set of chests behind the main organ that I assume are controlled by an electrical connection. I have not spent enough time with the organ to determine what stops are included in the ancillary chests - maybe the pedal stops? Overall the organ is in playable condition and voiced well. It is used weekly for services. The Pedal Subbass 16' is stuck on, but that is not is not a great impediment. -Jack Lauderdale
