Notes

2024-11-14 - I visited this organ briefly on 2024-11-14. The organ case is in original condition but may have been refinished in place during the last rebuild. Speakers for the digital organs are hanging from a beam above the great division, and more speakers are where the bellows were. All pipework appears to be present though there is extensive damage. Windchests were totaled in a previous rebuild by laminating aluminum sheets, hardboard, and other foreign composites to them using various epoxies and white glue. The swell box was removed and plaster board was laminated to the side walls of the case. The original double rise reservoir was replaced with a schwimmer style regulator. The detached and reversed keydesk was moved to the side in the balcony. It too was electrified with new stop key assembly and ivory keyboards. The console has a concave and radiating pedalboard which may be original to the organ. Nothing within the organ case is salvageable except for the casework and pipework (with significant repair). -Nicholas Koch
