2024-11-14 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified from the Roosevelt Opus List as published in the book, *Hilborne and Frank Roosevelt* by David H. Fox. Notes for this instrument in the book read, "Replaced an 1835 Henry Erben organ that was destroyed by fire; first used on February 3, 1881; replaced with a 1970 Hartman-Beaty organ whose wood pipes [and Great windchest] are from the Roosevelt instrument." -Jim Stettner

2024-11-14 - From the parish website: "By 1881, the second organ of the church was aging fast. Mr. Charles Spalding, a vestryman, offered a new organ in memory of his mother. This instrument was built by Helborne [sic] L. Roosevelt. Pieces of it would be incorporated into its successor, a [1970] Hartman-Beaty. -Jim Stettner
