Notes

2024-11-14 - This entry represents the installation of a used organ. The organ was originally built for Blessed Sacrament RC in Seattle's University District. After installation there, Balcom and Vaughan (who were the Vermeulen Reps) added an independent Pedal 16' rank on electro-pneumatic action. In 2024, as Blessed Sacrament prepared to install a large, used organ in the rear gallery, the Vermeulen was moved to the main floor at the front. But with a new 1-manual Fisk instrument in front, it was somewhat redundant. Kyle Kirschenman, Asst. Organist, made arrangements to acquire the Vermeulen. It was dismantled with assistance from Puget Sound Pipe Organs of Stanwood, WA. and reinstalled here at St. George Parish., replacing an aging electronic substitute. -Jim Stettner
