2024-11-17 - From The Daily Times (Moncton, NB, February 23, 1884): "The new pipe organ of St. Bernard's R.C. Church in this town had a most auspicious 'opening' last evening. The concert was largely attended, the main body of the church and the galleries being comfortably filled ... A description of the new organ, which was built by Messrs. James Paine & Co., St. John, from a specification furnished by Mr. Landry, organist at the Cathedral under his immediate supervision ... St. Bernard's congregation is to be congratulated on the possession of such a fine musical instrument, which is the admiration of all who have seen it, and the enterprise of Paine & Co., the builders, is worthy of commendation and patronage." -Andrew Henderson

2024-11-17 - From The Daily Times (Moncton, NB, February 15, 1884): "New organ for Moncton - Messrs. James Paine & Co., St. John, are building a large ice organ for St. Bernard's Catholic Church of Moncton, which will be forwarded to Moncton this week. The case of the organ is made of ash and walnut and is beautifully finished, reflecting music credit on the builders." -Andrew Henderson
